Typical "low cost" hotel. Suggest that room is inspected before signing in. Check everything; Paper, Doors, Towels, Light Bulbs, etc. Make sure the desk turns on the a/c and that the tv remote works. Also there is no pool on the roof (some users wrote there was). Hot shower really good, first thing in morning. General area is okay for several blocks around the hotel. Front desk was open 24 hrs. Elevator worked good. Taxi's are easily available. Staff was friendly. Value for the money was good; if more amenities are wanted, then plan to spend $25+ more per night. Telephone in room worked okay. Tv had hbo, etc. Metro Bus service at corner. Wireless Internet worked okay in room.

Maintenance needs to have better management. Repairs are haphazard and incomplete. Breakfast of coffee and toast only available after 0700. do not count on the "free" shuttle. There are no rooms or comfortable areas for smokers. "Dining Room" is cafe style and only has a minimum menu. Beds are "double" not king size.

Great location near the old quarter and Shopping Malls, with friendly staff who recommended some nice places to visit.

had a fairly nice time. everything was amazing, straightforward hotel, the location was exceptionally nice close enough to shopping malls and the financial hub, and the cinta costera and ave. i really enjoyed the room, the bed was comfortable. the clean bathroom with a soap and towels.

This budget-friendly accommodation is a fantastic place to stay with incredibly helpful and friendly staff, and delicious breakfast options.

Everything A horrible experience

Friendly, low key, inexpensive.

No water for several hours our second morning lasting all day and wireless connection worked only 10% of the time we were there. (2 nights) Apparently it worked fine in rooms closer to the front of the building.

Had a pretty good time staying here. the budget-friendly hotel was simple and to the point. the staff was super helpful and friendly. the location was great, just a short stroll to get some delicious ice cream! 🍦

Poor customer service, the room assigned to us wasn´t clean, but they gave us another room. We had to ask for towels, and toilet paper, because they didn´t have any at the room. The desk receptionist didn't pay attention when we arrived, no greet at all. The a/c was not working. It was terrible, and the breakfast was pretty much toast, juice or coffee and only has a minimum menu that you have to pay extra for it. It wasn't a pleasant stay at all. When we left they didn't want to provide us with a invoice. They asked us to come back the next day to pick it up.

The location of Discovery in Panama City is magnificent and perfect, being close to Shopping Malls. All the staff members are extremely helpful, which made my stay enjoyable.
